Remixed continues EMI's unlimited supply of
Talk Talk back catalog recycling by dressing up the same 12 alternate mixes served up prior on the first disc of the Asides Besides collection and
12 X 12 Original Mixes. The label doesn't even spend much energy in the way of reshuffling the tracks. They've just given the 12 mixes collected here a different title, slapping on some new artwork. To be fair, the bold, simplistic artwork on
Remixed improves on
12 X 12 Original Mixes' ugly collage work. As a major fan of the band, you'd be better off shelling out the extra cash for Asides Besides. You'd be getting everything this disc offers, in addition to its second disc of demos and excellent B-sides. ~ Andy Kellman
