Rockin' the '80s is a budget-priced, 10-track collection of album-rock and pop-metal hits from the '80s, featuring two cuts apiece from
Warrant,
Slaughter,
Dokken and
Eddie Money, as well as a song each from
L.A. Guns and
Loverboy. There's little rhyme or reason to the collection --
Warrant's sleaze-metal and
Dokken's titanic stadium rock don't necessarily jibe with
Money's smoother style -- but it's an entertaing disc, featuring such hits as "Down Boys," "Cherry Pie," "Unchain the Night," "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Two Tickets to Paradise," as well as a bunch of lesser-known songs.
