Finnish singer/songwriter
Sansa has a good background, studying singing and guitar at the conservatory and earning plaudits for her 2005 debut. Working with multi-instrumentalist Janne Oinas -- the two of them play everything on the disc -- she's created an album that runs to the adult side of pop music. It's a record that has its moments -- both "Black & White" and "The Night" are catchy -- but for the most part the songs seem to pass in a relatively unmemorable blur. There's nothing in the least wrong with them; there's simply little to make them stand out from the pack. ~ Chris Nickson
