Tammy Trent's Sparrow Label debut. She seems poised to take her career to the next level.
Trent offers up likeable pop that doesn't necessarily break new ground but doesn't disappoint either. On the dance pop end
Trent is quite apt, at times sounding like
Christina Aguilera minus the sexual overtones. Energy levels are high on songs like "If You Need Love" and "My Irreplaceable."
Trent seems most comfortable on the slower R&B vibes. On some cuts her sound is poignant, offering spiritual openness (i.e. "Without You" and "Light of Love"). Lyrically it's obvious that
Tammy Trent possesses a heartfelt passion for God.
