Another decent set of
Hopkins' songs, "Shaggy Dog" sounds like
Mississippi John Hurt with horns and drums, "Santa Fe Blues" is a fine haunting deep blues, and "Shake It Baby" is as infectious as anything he recorded. The collection highlights
Hopkins' outstanding guitar playing, though his vocals don't come through as strongly. An interesting cover of
Ray Charles' "What'd I Say" is also a highlight, making this a good budget-priced collection.
