Dispatch is a band in every sense of the word. Swapping instruments and sharing the vocal responsibilities give the group peerless versatility. Wicked acoustic guitars, playful bongos, and resplendent harmonies proliferate
Silent Steeples. The consistency of the album is its greatest attribute, which also makes it difficult to pick one song over another as a standout track. "Hey Hey" exemplifies the band's ability to harmonize for emotional emphasis. "Flying Horses" serves as a vehicle for intricate time changes and a catchy chorus. "Elias" opens with Zimbabwean lyrics and then goes on to showcase Chad Urmston's mastery on the bongos.
Dispatch has developed a loyal underground following through touring, word of mouth, and the Internet, further dispelling the need for major-label promotion to create an audience.
