The re-release of Walt Disney's first full-length animated feature in theaters in 1993 prompted the record division of Disney to put together the first full-length soundtrack CD, timing out at more than 73 minutes and containing most of the film's music. The bulk of it was written by
Frank Churchill, with lyrics on such songs as "Whistle While You Work," "Heigh-Ho," and "Some Day My Prince Will Come" by
Larry Morey. By now, this music has charmed generations of children, and there's no reason why it won't charm even more. ~ William Ruhlmann
