Pianist
Pamela Wise's first record as a leader features six of her compositions, an obscurity (
Wendell Harrison's "Pamela's Holiday"), and a vocal feature for Valencia Edner, "I Didn't Know What Time It Was." Each number has one or two Latin percussionists. Jerry Gonzalez is often heard on congas or timbales, also playing flugelhorn on "Hasta Manana." Other prominent members of the supporting cast include Harrison, on tenor and clarinet, and Brad Felt on baritone horn and tuba.
