This EP from the ambient-shoegaze-dance melder from Germany, Ulrich Schnauss, resurrects and reimagines tracks from two of his previous releases. There are three versions of the effervescent "Stars," the original of which appeared on Schnauss's GOODBYE album. His own version does nothing radical with it, but cleans and expands the song pleasantly. Maps and Mahogany's Andrew Prinz have a go as well, the latter somewhat softening the song's edges to fit the less dancey Mahogany template. "Look at the Sky," a version of a track from the artist's QUICKSAND MEMORY EP, veers closer to the gorgeous ambient style Schnauss explored on his popular A STRANGELY ISOLATED PLACE album.
