Sophomore jinx? Not for
the Mean Red Spiders, who take the musical style they dabbled in on their debut,
Places You Call Home, and take it even further. Like stylistic godparents
My Bloody Valentine, the band pulls off the seeming paradox of being loud as heck while remaining warm and melodic throughout.
