Buffalo, NY's
Razzels got the idea of making their own records from their buddies
the Goo Goo Dolls and this 1999 outing serves as their full-length debut. It's power pop-punk with a load of bash'n'crash and better harmonies and song structure than one would figure in this genre. Starting off with four strong ones in a row ("Life," "I Said," "Stuck in Here," and "Long Long Climb"), the band keeps the energy level torqued for the rest of the album with "Can't Let Go," "Your Way Down," "Lies Ahead of Me," and the title track all making strong impressions. A strong and energetic debut. ~ Cub Koda
