The Bangs, featuring former members of Witchypoo and the Slatterlines, sound like a grown-up version of
the Donnas, spitting their girl punk fury with deadly accuracy. While
the Donnas sing about "hotboxin'" in the back of their parents' van, the Bangs are planning their "
Sweet Revenge." The Donnas want boys, while the Bangs want respect from them. Not quite riot grrrl, not quite girl group, the Bangs are sure of one thing -- they're ready to rock.
