MxPx makes a forceful impact with The Ever Passing Moment, lacing its energetic tracks with elements of pop melody, rock excitement, and a taste of punk abandon. Loud, speedy songs such as "My Life Story," "Responsibility," and "Two Whole Years" are plentiful on the album. Produced by Jerry Finn (blink-182, Green Day), this recording has a polished, well-constructed feel, without sounding overly pre-packaged. Some of the other songs that will make your head shake are "Prove It to the World," "Educated Guess," and "Buildings Tumble." Overall, The Ever Passing Moment is a wild ride filled with powerful, bouncy tracks, and an impressive combination of hard-rocking sounds, and pop-oriented melodic sensibilities.
