The Zac Brown Band may have broken into public view as a country group in 2008 with the ubiquitous "Chicken Fried," but Brown and the band were really so much more than that. Aside from writing songs, singing them, and leading the band, Brown is also a record producer, runs his own label, and is intent on making the world a better place through music, working benefits and charities on a constant basis. No, this little country band is really more of a cross-over jam band, with a creative mix of country, folk, bluegrass, and Caribbean rhythms that continues to evolve as a sound. This four-song EP was produced by none other than Dave Grohl, who also plays drums on "Let It Rain," and it shows that the Zac Brown Band isn't about to stand still and coast.
