This mammoth 32-track collection features
the Hollywood Argyles' number one 1960 smash, "Alley Oop," and all of
Gary Paxton's solo recordings, including his 1966 solo remake of "Alley Oop." "The Bug Eyed Man," "Gun Totin' Critter Called Jack," "The Lost Ranger," "Long-Hair, Unsquare Dude Called Jack," and "Alley Oop Was a Two Dab Man" (a take on Brylcream, a popular '60s men's hair dressing whose advertising hook was "a little dab a do ya") are the more humorous titles, but the whole disc is a hoot.
