Kids from the Brady Bunch is an original album that
the Brady Bunch group released in the early '70s. With its gleefully hippie-dippy lyrics, shameless flower-power guitars and bad singing, of course the album has dated badly, but anyone that buys the record is looking for a kitschy artifact and
Kids from the Brady Bunch fills the bill. Not counting
the Bradys' first album,
Meet the Brady Bunch, it's the best original album they ever released. Still, most fans will be satisfied with the It's A Sunshine Day compilation. The 1996 CD reissue contains a handful of bonus tracks drawn from the Chris Knight & Maureen McCormick duet album, which have previously never appeared on compact disc. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
