Late night on the CBC radio network was an excellent place to hear Canadian talent, and the show Nightlines spun its fair share of
Rheostatics over its 15 years. When Nightlines was canceled, it seemed only fitting that
the Rheostatics play an on-air concert/radio collage to commemorate the event.
The Nightlines Sessions is a fairly loose and sometimes silly affair, and some of the material is throw-away. Longtime fans will find it fun and interesting, but it will probably leave most others puzzled. ~ Sean Carruthers
