On The Prelude, the Philadelphia singer-songwriter expands into lush disco-pop—the kind that sounds like bottled sunshine and new love. “Give It to Me,” the EP’s orchestral opening track, announces the transformation, as groovy as it is flirtatious and a sonic departure that suits Pink Sweat$'s artistic inclinations (and his rosy aesthetic) well.
