This compilation album culls 12 of the 17 songs from the Weavers' 1958 album, The Weavers at Home, plus four of the five songs from its follow-up, Travelling on with the Weavers (1959) that featured departing tenor Pete Seeger. It gets docked half a diamond for its misleading title, which could cause a customer to confuse it with a hits or best-of collection. But with songs like "This Land Is Your Land," "Erie Canal," "Gotta Travel On" and "Greenland Whale Fisheries," it is a typically varied and well-performed
Weavers disc. ~ William Ruhlmann
