Junction 18's brand of emo rock is easy to like, but infinitely harder to distinguish from any other emo rock band of the mid- to late '90s.
This Vicious Cycle is a great album of upbeat, slightly punk rock, and for those who are fans of this particular genre,
Junction 18 is worthy of giving a listen. Of the 11 tracks offered, the most memorable is "Granite Street Knife Fight." Otherwise, this is just another disc for teenagers to dance to in small clubs or rebel to while stuck in their room on a hot summer day. Oh, don't forget that this is the perfect soundtrack for a tragic break-up, but what emo/punk album isn't? ~ Jason D. Taylor
