Following the success of the 2016's animated film
Trolls and its accompanying soundtrack, the colorful big-haired creatures -- and their respective voice actors -- return for 2017's
Trolls Holiday, a seasonal television special that featured seven new songs. In addition to main cast members Anna Kendrick (Queen Poppy), Justin Timberlake (Branch), and Zooey Deschanel (former scullery maid Bridget), returning support includes James Corden (Biggie), Icona Pop (Satin and Chenille), and more on irrepressibly cheerful tracks like "Lookin' for a Holiday" and "The Holla-Day for You." Much like its top ten predecessor, a handful of creative cover songs pepper the soundtrack, including the Trolls' take on Madonna's "Holiday," the O'Jays' "Love Train," and the beat-boxing, a cappella "Friend Medley," a mash-up of Whodini's "Friends," Bill Withers' "Lean on Me," Queen's "You're My Best Friend," and Andrew Gold's "Thank You for Being a Friend."
