the Hal Al Shedad (James Joyce and Benjamin Lukens), and the peculiar mind behind one-man band Retconned (Jonathan Lukens), with production from the hands of the 3rd Shedad member (Ed Rawls). All in all, what is here sounds like the disfigured child of the mating of the bandmember's past projects, with slight pushes in innovation around the borders. ~ Blake Butler
