With softly melancholic songs about life and love, German singer/songwriter
Axel Bosse managed to reach number 16 in the German album charts with his fourth album,
Wartesaal.
Bosse's wistful pop melodies and introspective lyrics have the same radio-friendly sheen that was evident on his previous album,
Taxi, with piano, strings, indie rock guitars, and drums. The album includes a new recording of his song "Frankfurt Oder," featuring
Anna Loos of
Silly. The two-CD version offers additional acoustic versions of seven album tracks. ~ Christian Genzel
