Ten tracks of straight-ahead techno are on the bill for
Where's the Music, with much less personality than on 2000's excellent
Gain. "Casiotone" is bland electro and "Afterplan" is standard-issue bubbly Detroit techno, while the few highlights (like "On a Day") recall latter-day productions by labelmates (and mates)
Slam. The standard-issue sound on
Where's the Music is even more surprising considering veteran producer
Mark Broom makes appearances throughout. ~ John Bush
