Sinitta's second album maintained her position in the dance-pop sweepstakes, thanks to cover versions of pop songs by
Maxine Nightingale and
Robert Knight, "Right Back Where We Started From" and "Everlasting Love." The fact that
Sinitta didn't come close to either version didn't matter; her light, wispy voice fit into the overproduced material enough to generate interest. But it was clear that things were about to end; her other songs were too lightweight to be salvaged even by state-of-the-art late-'80s studio technology. ~ Ron Wynn
