Winterwunderwelt is the festive-themed release from multi-instrumentalist
Götz Alsmann. The TV host/singer's 2006 LP includes German-language cover versions of traditional standards "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," "Frosty the Snowman," and "Winter Wonderland" and renditions of classic pop songs (Elisa Gabbai's "Winter in Canada,"
Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas"). ~ Jon O'Brien
