Containing nearly all the songs from
the Killers' 2004 debut,
Hot Fuss ("Changes" is missing, but the bonus track, "Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll," is included, as well as an original,
Killers-esque piece by Doctor Online, "Zeromancer"),
A Tribute to the Killers is, more than anything else, a confusing waste of money. While New York Street Empire doesn't do a bad job, per se, of covering the pieces, they certainly don't provide any reason to buy this album instead of the original. Not kitschy enough to be fun, and not good enough to be worthwhile,
A Tribute to the Killers is best left on bargain shelves nationwide. ~ Marisa Brown
