After director/musician Quentin Dupieux (aka
Mr. Oizo) finished filming
Wrong in 2011, he recruited David Sztanke, well known as an electronic artist under the name
Tahiti Boy, to help compose the soundtrack. Recording in Dupieux's Paris loft studio, Sztanke beefed up the already started tracks into thick beats, using vintage drum machines and software. The score covers a wide range of moods, from funky electronic numbers and club bangers to mellow jazz and ambient pieces. It is the third Quentin Dupieux soundtrack released by Ed Banger Records and, as usual, the label has its finger on the pulse. ~ Jason Lymangrover
