Afternoon Tea presents 11 refined classical pieces, including
Chopin's Waltz, No. 9 in A flat major, Op. 69/1,
Schubert's String Quartet No. 13 in A minor "Rosamunde," Op. 29, D804, Andante, and
Vivaldi's Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra in D major, Andante-Allegro. The collection is particularly heavy on
Mozart, featuring four of his compositions, including Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, No. 26 in D major "Coronation," KV 53 and "Quartet for Flute and String Trio, No. 2 in G major, KV 285a, Andante.
Haydn is also prominent on the album, with two tracks, Symphony No. 104 in D major "London," Andante and Symphony No. 53 in D major "Impériale," Hob.1:53, Andante, featured. The album probably should have been more varied, but it does offer a pleasant set of classical pieces that are appropriate for more occasions than just afternoon tea.
