After a six-year hiatus, two solo albums from lead singer Charlie Simpson, and a synth-based project from bandmembers Alex Westaway and Dan Haigh called Gunship, Fightstar have converged once more to record their sixth studio album. After inspiration from their sold-out 10th anniversary shows, the band re-entered the studio to create new material. Simpson has described the album as "Fresh and modern but still uniquely Fightstar."
Behind the Devil's Back demonstrates a heavier sound compared to their previous work, alongside songs with their signature melodic approach to post-hardcore. ~ Liam Martin
