Ce soir on sort... par Patrick Bruel - DeepRiffs

ALBUM

Trois ans après son hommage à Barbara dans l'album Très Souvent Je Pense à Vous (2015), qui a donné lieu à une tournée dédiée et l'année suivante à l'enregistrement en public (Barbara - Le Châtelet), Patrick Bruel revient à un répertoire original et change de style musical avec, pour la première fois, l'introduction de sonorités électroniques.

Placés en ouverture, les deux premiers extraits « Tout recommencer » et « Rue Mouffetard » ne laissent qu'entrevoir ce virage par quelques effets dans des compositions acoustiques, l'une rythmée et l'autre plus intime et toutes deux nostalgiques. Ce mélange électro-acoustique est de mise sur « Qu'est-ce qu'on fait », relatant l'enthousiasme général après la victoire de l'équipe de France de football en Coupe du monde. Patrick Bruel ouvre alors une porte vers les sujets d'actualité qui le préoccupent, entre deux ballades sentimentales comme « Arrête de sourire » ou « J'ai croisé ton fils », au chant éraillé.

La tendance à la mode qui associe rythmes reggaeton et instrumentation classique se précise dans « On se plaît », quand « Louise » le conduit lentement mais sûrement vers une explosion de sons synthétiques et « Pas eu le temps » à une danse balkanique. Entre les deux, « Héros » rend un hommage appuyé, sur un ton grave, aux anonymes, hommes et femmes de grande volonté et le morceau-titre, sobrement accompagné au piano et au violon, relate un sentiment commun après les attentats perpétrés dans l'Hexagone.

L'appareillage électronique, qui encombre également le refrain fédérateur de « Stand Up », tend à s'effacer au fur et à mesure que les sentiments affleurent en fin d'album, dans « L'Amour est un fantôme » ou « Je suis fait pour elle ». À la recherche d'un nouveau souffle, le chanteur qui approche la soixantaine espère le trouver dans les sonorités du moment, de peu subtile manière.
