Celtic Worship is a collection of religious-themed Celtic songs that are performed as if they were new age, not traditional Celtic music. There are a number of traditional Celtic instruments on the record, but the atmospheric production and Sarah Lacy's haunting vocals make it sound more like
Clannad than
the Chieftains. That said, it's quite a good collection, featuring good versions of "Be Thou My Vision," "He Is Exalted," "Stones and Sea," "Into the Light," "Prodigal," "Tell Me Now," "Lamb of God," and "Awesome God." ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
