The second of three Famous Door albums recorded by
Bill Watrous with pianist
Jim Cox, bassist Tom Childs, drummer
Chad Wackerman and percussionist
Dave Levine features the trombonist-leader performing five standards plus his own uptempo blues "Pig Farm."
Watrous' beautiful tone is very much in evidence on "Blue And Sentimental" and "Goodbye" and his speed and dexterity are quite impressive on "Charmaine" and "No More Blues." One of
Watrous' better Famous Door Lp's; all are recommended if hard-to-find.
