Teaming up with other Bay Area rappers
Messy Marv (from San Francisco) and
Mac Dre-associate
P.S.D. (from Vallejo),
Keak da Sneak (from Oakland) released
Da Bidness in 2007. The production is good -- definitely hyphy oriented, which makes sense, as all three MCs are heavily involved in the scene, and have been for a while -- as is the rapping, and guests
San Quinn and
Mistah F.A.B., each of whom show up a few times, contribute decent verses as well. For those wanting to a get a taste of California's underground scene, or even for those familiar with it but wanting to see what their favorite rappers can do together,
Da Bidness is a good choice. ~ Marisa Brown
