Amy Helm has American music in her blood; her father, Levon Helm, was the drummer and sometimes lead singer for the iconic roots rock group the Band, and her mother Libby Titus was a singer and composer whose tunes have been recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, and Carly Simon.
