Four advanced improvisers team up to play complex and rather open-ended originals during this adventurous set.
Joseph Jarman (on tenor, alto, soprano, piccolo, bass clarinet and various flutes), trombonist
Craig Harris (also playing some flute and didgeridoo), bassist Rafael Garrett (heard a bit on clarinet, flute and percussion) and drummer/percussionist
Don Moye all communicate very well and are flexible and able to make a great deal of music out of very little. The three-part "Zulu Village" is the highlight of the lesser-known release. ~ Scott Yanow
