This is five streets and a city square ahead of any "nuevo flamenco" compilation to date. It has the usual range of mixes -- Andalucian tradition, Cuban, Spanish pop, international funk-soul -- from straight flamenco to the full funk-bass-drum-machine press. But everybody here does it so much better than groups like
Pata Negra, especially in the vocals, that it's pathetic. Unfortunately, no notes are included.
