In his much delayed debut recording, seasoned Native American actor/musician
Glen Bonham delivers a solid bluegrass set. His approach is traditional, with only minimal departures from the mainstream, but each performance is pristine in its execution and rich with emotion. The one original track, "Mr. Homeless," paints a compelling picture of someone so down on his luck that he's forgotten his own name; its spare imagery and unapologetic sentiment suggest that Bonham has more stories to tell and perhaps some territory to explore beyond that old
Bill Monroe trail. ~ Robert L. Doerschuk
