After peaking at number two with 2010's full-length debut L'École des Points Vitaux and number three with 2011 mixtape En Attendant L'Apogée: Les Chroniques du 75, rap collective Sexion d'Assaut cemented their status as one of the French hip-hop scene's biggest acts by reaching number one with their second studio effort, L'Apogée. Its 17 tracks include collaborations with H Magnum ("Rien de Mechant"), Dry ("Assez"), and Dr. Beriz ("J'Suis Pas Dans le Game") alongside the singles "Mets Pas Celle La," "Disque d'Or," and "Avant Qu'elle Parte," the latter an emotional tribute to members JR O Chrome's and Maska's late mothers.
