It's amazing what a name change and a six-year hiatus can do. After the generally awful experience of their first album, Circle C re-emerged as Copyright, and they sound energized and enthusiastic throughout Love Story. Part of this involves focusing on what the band does best: melodic pop music with muscular rock propulsion. In fact, "The Flesh is Weak" almost sounds like a hit single. As you'd expect from the title, much of the material on the album concerns the L-word, but the darker perspective the band brings to it makes it anything but a cliché.
