Deniece Williams seemed out of answers as she moved into the 1990s. Her light, airy voice had once seemed charming and enticing, but was now older and less wide-ranging and alluring. There was also a shortage of quality material, and a split focus between gospel and pop. The result was this rather dismal early-'90s outing, with no hits and not even a memorable single. The vocals and production were barely passable;
Williams was now floundering in search of a concept.
