Offerings, the fourth outing from Portland-based indie ensemble Typhoon, is a dark-hued affair centered around the theme of memory loss, both individual and cultural. Divided into four sections: Floodplains, Flood, Reckoning, and Afterparty, each one is based on the slowly disintegrating mental state of the album's primary character. Written and conceived by frontman Kyle Morton, it's the band's first release since 2013's White Lighter and their second for Roll Call Records.
