Al B. Sure's second album pretty much picks up where the first left off, providing plenty of new jack funk and urban slow cookers. There's not much personality here, however. Al and his crew seem determined to stick to formula, which ultimately fails to generate much heat. That means some decent songs (specifically, "Misunderstanding," "Had Enuff?," and a silky duet with
Diana Ross, "No Matter What") get lost in the mix.
