Social commentary comes with a tropical bounce on the title track to Culcha Candela’s 2009 release, Schöne Neue Welt. The song “Schöne Neue Welt” is a good example of the German crew’s love of dancehall, but the follow-up single, “Monsta,” rocks the house with a hip-hop beat. R&B, reggae, and club music are also present on this genre-spanning effort, which climbed to number eight on the German album charts.
