Singles is a compilation consisting of the A- and B-sides of all the singles Broder Daniel released for EMI. You'll find the classics "Luke Skywalker," "Iceage," and "Cadillac," but also obscurities such as "Mr. Cloudman," which is downright strange, and not really in a good way. There are a couple of hidden gems here, though: The crazed, but in a good way, burst of "You Split the Night" and the beautiful but somewhat un-Broder Daniel charms of "Hospital" are as strong as anything they've put on record. This is a fun, but in no way a necessary, album, unless you are a fan. The classics you get to hear on the studio albums, and the couple of hidden gems don't really make up for all the inconsistent tracks. ~ Anders Kaasen
