This was a decent album, but nothing as riveting or as ambitious as any of her late-'80s projects.
Williams' producers didn't give her the room or the vehicles for her boisterous personality and huge voice to project or shine. As a result, her songs were well produced, but not compelling or memorable. ~ Ron Wynn
