Atreyu get the string tribute treatment with this 2005 Vitamin release. It draws from both
Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses and 2004's
Curse, and features instrumental arrangements for viola, cello, and two violins. While the rage and volatility in
Atreyu's music can't be translated, interpretations of "Crimson," "Someone's Standing on My Chest," "Lip Gloss and Black," and "Ain't Love Grand" are effective at communicating a general sense of foreboding or darkness. And this makes
String Quartet Tribute to Atreyu somewhat interesting for fans. ~ Johnny Loftus
