Since the late '80s,
Fleshcrawl has been growling and gurgling away -- never turning their back on the extreme metal genre along the way. And the group continues on their merry path on their 2007 release,
Structures of Death (the group's first ever release not to have been recorded in Sweden -- Germany got the nod this time around). While countless other death metal/black metal band follow the same formula,
Fleshcrawl was doing their thang way before it was done to death by countless other subsequent bands. The perfect soundtrack for entering the gates of hell? This would certainly be a fitting description for such selections as the title track, "Into the Fire of Hell," "Rest in Pain," and "War of the Dead." Nothing fancy, just some good, old-fashioned, ripping death metal. ~ Greg Prato
