This is the most "punk"-like recording the
'Printz ever made, and its rough-hewn charm is immediately engaging. The songs, however, are not all light and happy pop songs, and that gives the record an extra edge.
O'Neill and
Burns's guitars are aggressive and intrusive (that's a compliment), and this record was one of the great left-field (and now long-forgotten) surprises of the late '70s.
