Melbourne-based producer Aaron Static is one of Australia’s leading producers of melodic modern electronica. His first two records, 2009’s Singularity and Redemption from 2013 update the classic “chill-out” album template into fresh new forms as well as exploring drum and bass, dubstep and breaks. Shifting Tides, the third full length from the Melburnian, is out on Slime Recordings.
